This bag is made from a pull-up cowhide leather (which means when you bend or crease it the leather will lighten in colour and will slowly return to its natural colour)
This does mean that the leather will pick up mire nicks & scratches but that just adds to the character of the bag. You can 'soften' scratches & nicks by rubbing them with your thumb.
